Oh You Shoudn’t Have
Well it took its sweet time getting here, but alas the holidays are approaching which means everything is going to start smelling like pumpkin spice and stores like Sephora are starting to sell their yearly ‘gifts’! This is the closest version of a ‘makeup sale’ I have ever found (which is probably why I get overly excited), but hey, if you can’t get excited about Stila selling 8 sheer and wearable lipglosses for $25, then what can you get excited about? So if you are out of gift ideas (or time), know that all of these are great deals on amazing brands, and they are sure to make any makeup lover very happy. Makeup Product of the Week
My new favorite makeup product I have found: Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream.
These little pots of color are ultra high in pigment so just a little dab goes a long way (I can not even imagine how long it would take to go through a whole container), and the available colors are truly beautiful from emerald green to pure gold to satin brown. Now I am a loyal user of Nars cream eyeshadow, but after finding these I might be making the switch. The Make Up Forever cream applies super easily using just your finger tip and once the pure color drys onto your eyelid, it won’t smudge, crease, of fade. The coolest feature about these shadows is they are (pause for effect) waterproof! Everyone knows that all great love stories have that memorable ‘rain scene’, and with these eyeshadows you will be prepared for yours when you and your long lost love finally reunite after years of separation during a torrential (yet romantic) downpour. All the colors have a pearly finish and can double as a blush or lip color. Creaseless cream waterproof eyeshadow is my makeup version of the Holy Grail and I really love that these were made with the user in mind, designed to make you look the same at the end of the day as you do as the start of it.

Soften The Lips, Not the Kiss
1. Smith’s Rosebud Salve $8.. There is a reason this product is so popular, it softens your lips, smoothes your cuticles, and tames flyaway’s. Plus it is now available in a tube which I’m diggin because, let’s face it, your hands are dirty.
2. Clinique’s Superbalm Lip Treatment $12.. I would recommend this if you have short hair or wear your hair away from your face; while this is super moisturizing and shiny, it is also pretty sticky.
3. Burt’s Beeswax Lip Treatment $4.85.. If your guy isn’t giving you that tingly feeling in your stomach, at least your lips can get it from this chap stick.
4. EO Organic Lip Treatment $2.99.. Glides right on and you (and by you I mean I) feel cooloer using it because it is all organic.
5. Kiehl’s Lip Balm #1 $9..Made of all natural ingredients, it also comes in vanilla and mango, but I can never seem to get away from the coconut (great choice for men too)!
6. Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15 $22.50.. It plumps up your lips and is made with real sugar, simply sweet.
7. Nars ‘Sabrina’ Lip Treatment $24 .. Yes it is a little expensive, but it goes on so smoothly, has SPF 20, and has that pale pink color that pairs perfectly with rimmed or smokey eyes, it is worth the few extra bucks.
8. LipSmacker ‘Watermelon’ $2.. If ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Hold Me Tight
Tights are the perfect accessory for this time of year. Pair with either flats or boots and they transition your summer dresses and skirts into a fall ensemble. Add tons of layers, throw a scarf into the mix, and you’ve made an ordinary outfit seem ten times more fashionable. A huge trend of this fall/winter are white tights, but with so many versions out there for under $30 dollars, you can afford to throw some funkier, patterned designs into the mix.

Keep Calm and Eat Some Chocolate
Need another reason to eat chocolate? Well how about another guilt-free reason? It is said that dark chocolate may reduce the stress hormones cortisol and catecholamine in your body which lowers anxiety levels. The only down side to this sweet fact? You don’t need to consume tons of it to reap these positive effects, about an ounce or so daily will do the trick. But will eating even more make you more relaxed? Who am I to rule it out.
